Arion’s profound devotion and herding talent made themselves known when he was but five weeks old. The pure joy of partnering with a human continues to surprise us. With his one bright blue eye, he watches the world with both a working dog’s seriousness and the most human-focused tenderness. At 8 weeks old, he moved the most robust of our sheep off their hay. As he matures, he continues to show interest in stockwork. He is a scrappy, athletic, mentally stable puppy. He has the most refined recall of his litter. There is only one reason we are exploring possible adoption: he would be happiest as an only dog; he has no issues with other dogs, and is strong enough to stand up to his more dominant siblings. However, his devotion is for humans and, even more than working, his attention is human directed. Preference will be given to a working or companion home that can provide Arion with the attention and devotion he deserves. He is cherished here and it pains us to consider his placement. Grandpup of Dean McAuley’s Joe and Dewi Jenkins Clwyd Bob, Greatgrand pup of Martin Feeney’s Jack, James McCloskey’s Sweep, and H.J. Francis’ Glan Y Gors Tadgh.
ArionJubilant, scrappy, devoted.
